Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the KJuffali Elevators mobile application (the “App”), operated by Khalid Juffali Elevators & Escalators Co. (“KJEE”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What the App Is For

The App is a field-service tool for managing elevator and escalator projects, equipment, maintenance contracts, and service appointments. It is used by KJEE customers, technicians, and supervisors. It supports the services KJEE provides under your maintenance or installation contract; it does not replace that contract.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to act for yourself or for the company you register.
• Customer registrations are reviewed by a KJEE supervisor before access is granted. We may decline or revoke access, for example if registration details cannot be verified.
• The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date. Company accounts must provide the correct company name and commercial registration (CR) number.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
• If you cannot sign in, you can request a password reset from the sign-in screen. A KJEE supervisor will confirm your identity before issuing a temporary password, which you must replace with your own the next time you sign in.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for anything other than managing services related to your KJEE projects or your work for KJEE
• Access, or try to access, projects, equipment, appointments, or accounts that are not yours or not assigned to you
• Enter false information, including false service records, checklist results, photos, or signatures
• Upload content that is unlawful or infringes anyone’s rights
• Interfere with, probe, or overload the App or its servers, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows

4. Service Records, Photos, and Signatures

Checklists, notes, photos, and the customer signature captured at the end of a visit form the service record for that visit. By signing on the device, the customer representative confirms that the work described was carried out. These records may be used as maintenance documentation and to resolve questions about the work performed.

5. Appointments and Safety

• Booking an on-demand visit in the App is a request. A visit is confirmed only once it is scheduled and a technician is assigned; dates may change, and we will tell you through the App when they do.
• The App does not replace emergency services. If a person is trapped or there is an immediate danger, contact emergency services and KJEE’s emergency line directly.
• Equipment that is reported faulty should not be used until it has been inspected.

6. Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you provide, such as notes and photos. You give KJEE permission to store, use, and share it as needed to provide the App and our services, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. You can request deletion of your account through Delete Your Account and Data.

8. Availability and Changes

We work to keep the App available and accurate, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may also update these Terms; we will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and may request deletion of your account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if your contract with KJEE ends, or if needed to protect the App, our customers, or our staff.

10. Disclaimers and Liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, KJEE is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the App, or for losses caused by inaccurate information entered by users. Nothing in these Terms limits KJEE’s obligations under your service contract or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
